A Successful PALC Graduate

Another
school year has come to an end, and all the students worked so hard
throughout the year. The teachers at the Pearson Adult Learning Centre
want to take this opportunity to recognize all of your efforts and
achievements. This year, in June 2010, we had over 30 graduates. It is
a wonderful achievement for adult learners.
As adults, coming to
school and completing school work is very challenging. Our learners
must balance homework with housework and jobs, children and spouses,
adjusting to all of life’s changes and challenges.
With this in
mind, it is a pleasure to recognize the success of all our students and
introduce you to one of our graduates who has overcome all of these
challenges— Kamaljeet Munday. We are very pleased to have her story and
her journey with the Pearson Adult Learning Centre featured in the New
Westminster Record. Read the details of her story and be inspired by her success.
