it or not, the Olympics is soon to be upon us. Some are still unhappy
with our spending priorities, preferring to use the money on social
housing and services; others are thrilled to show off our city and
partake of the Olympic spirit. Like my wife, I am fairly apolitical and
just want to join in the once-in-a-lifetime hometown Olympic atmosphere.
I found the two links below helpful in keeping me on top of what’s happening. The events are mainly free or low-cost.

you get tired of doing the Olympic stuff, take some time off to
celebrate either the Chinese New Year or Valentine’s Day falling on the
same day – Sunday, February 14.
