speaklisten This term, for the first time ever, the Pearson ALC is pleased to announce two classes for those students who wish to improve their speaking and listening skills. One of the classes will take place on Fridays from 12:30 to 2:30 and be a full year course. The other will be held in the late afternoon from 4:00 to 6:15 on Mondays and Wednesdays and will be a semestered course, ending in January or June.

We expect the classes to fill quickly. Remember that all students are welcome to come to the classes, no matter what your current level. 

Here is a list of topics and activities:

-speaking and listening to classmates
-pronounciation practice for common English words
-dividing words into syllables
-talking about everyday activities like working, shopping, and cooking
-using different verb tenses in complete sentences
-telling about and listening to simple stories
-speaking clearly
-writing and reading words and sentences
-oral presentations
