Writing needs to have an attractive title so
that someone may wish to read it.
Consider the reader as the most important
person when you write.
Writing should contain enough information for
the reader to understand the idea you are trying to communicate.
Writing should follow the accepted rules of
grammar, including punctuation.
Writing should not be too long because, if it
is, it may cause boredom in the reader; however, length is not
always a bad thing if what you say is of interest to a reader.
Follow the standards of writing.
Writing should be consistent from beginning to
end.
Writing should use plain and easy vocabulary
unless necessary. (George Orwell; 1984)
Writing must be concise, clear, orderly and
sequenced.
Writing requires us to know something of value
that another person may wish to know.
